13 Characters that I Think WB Needs to Introduce to Multiversus

Multiversus came out almost a week ago and has been met with fairly positive reception so far. It's a game where you can have Shaggy fight Batman or Tom and Jerry fight Iron Giant. It's absolutely wacky and honestly, it's a lot of fun to play.  WB has a vast list of franchises to choose from, so for the sake of variety I'll do my best to pick only one or two characters from each franchise; even if one franchise has enough potential on its own, I'm looking at you, DC. The devs have announced that Rick and Morty are going to be coming to the game sometime next week but there are so many opportunities for characters down the road and here are some that I think would make the best additions to the game.

Ben 10

Ben Tennyson's play style could offer a good variety from a gameplay standpoint. He could play similar to Pokemon Trainer from Super Smash Bros and be able switch between different forms. I would say the best ones to switch with would be Heatblast, Diamondback, and Four Arms. Of course any of the aliens from the show would work for this game, except Gray Matter, but those are the three that I think would be best. 

Mordecai and Rigby

Okay, this is technically two characters but since they are almost always together, I didn't want to separate them. Regular Show is one of my favorite Cartoon Network series and the show is filled with cool and unique weapons that could be used in the show. They could use the death kwon do outfits, the Maximum gaming glove, and of course they would have their signature golf cart. Either character would be great but another character from Regular Show that I would love to see in the game is Muscle Man. You know who else would love to see Muscle Man...my mom! 

Scorpion

Scorpion is kind of a no brainer, he's already in another fighting game and is probably the most popular character. He could do fire damage and also use his chain like Wonder Woman uses her lasso. Sub-Zero would also make a great addition to the game but Scorpion's ability to teleport makes him the best option. 

Gandalf

Multiversus needs more mages, with only two of them right now. Gandalf would be a a perfect addition to the game as he could add more ranged combat as well as being able to hit people up close with his staff. I'm honestly really surprised that they hadn't already added him. I don't know if Gandalf would be as agile as some of the more cartoonish characters though. Another Middle Earth inhabitant that would work for the game would be Legolas, who would also add more ranged attacks to the game.

The Mask

This one isn't as popular nowadays as some of the other characters on this list but Jim Carrey's living cartoon would be right at home in Multiversus. He could fight kind of similar to Bugs Bunny but also do is own thing and it would be good to have the character come into the spotlight more for the new generation. If they didn't add The Mask, then another Jim Carrey character like Ace Ventura would also suffice. 

Godzilla

I struggled between picking Godzilla or King Kong because either of them would be good options, but Godzilla's atomic breath really pushes him over the edge for me. He could play similarly too Iron Giant with a few extra abilities like a tail swipe and the atomic breath. Mechagodzilla could also be an available skin for the character. 

Pennywise

Warner Brothers has lots of opportunities for putting horror characters into the game including Jason Voorhees, Freddy Kreuger, and of course Pennywise. People have been requesting this character for Mortal Kombat for a while now and since we're still waiting for that,  Multiversus would be the perfect place to put It. He could have a lot of supernatural abilities and really be a force to be reckoned with.

Black Adam

With the new Black Adam movie coming out in just a couple months, adding The Rock's new super anti-hero to Multiversus would be not only good for the game but for the movie as well. He could play somewhat similar to Superman except have electrical abilities instead of ice and fire. This definitely makes the most sense to be the next DC character that they add to the game. 

Green Lantern

The other DC character that I think would be perfect for the game is the Emerald Knight himself, Green Lantern. His powerset could be very different than anything we've seen in the game yet and would fit in well with the other characters. The fact that there have been so many characters to take up the Green Lantern mantle means that there is a lot of opportunity for different skins. 

Emmet

Emmit from The Lego Movie is a great choice because he has already met most of these characters before and adding a Lego character to the game would be really cool and unique. There's a lot of things that he could build within the game, or he could even have the ability to break apart and still attack the other characters. There is already a Lego platform fighter called Lego Brawls however so I doubt that they will be adding any Lego characters. 

Daenerys

Another Game of Thrones character, Daenerys would play differently than Arya. She'd focus more on using dragons to help her out and she could even be riding a dragon through the whole game. There are plenty of other cool characters from the show but since almost all of them fight with swords, it would get redundant if they kept adding more. 

Harry Potter

Another possible mage character, and one that I'm surprised isn't already in the game is Harry Potter. There are a lot of characters from the Wizarding World that would be cool but they should probably only have one or two wizards in the game to keep it from getting redundant. Voldemort would also be a good option. Whatever character they choose would have a great variety of spells and Harry Potter even has the invisibility cloak that he could use. 

Neo

Lastly, we have Neo from the Matrix. He would definitely be the best at dodging but he's also a character that could bring guns into the game, which none of the characters have really done yet. He could also have a special ability that slows time for a bit, and even block projectiles. If they don't use Neo than John Wick would also be freaking awesome and would definitely be bringing some heavy firepower.
